Roles
The business owns the relationship. We run the engine.
For information about a business's customers, AutoChat is a service provider: we process it only on that business's instructions, and only to provide the features it has set up. Every record is scoped to one business.
Google APIs
When a business connects Google.
- Google Calendar
- Reads availability and creates, updates and cancels events, so bookings made through AutoChat stay in sync with the business's calendar.
- Google Business Profile
- Shows the business's reviews in AutoChat and lets the business reply to them.
AutoChat’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Meta platforms
When a business connects Meta.
- Facebook Pages and Messenger
- Receives and sends messages for the business's Page, and shows them on each person's thread.
- Instagram professional accounts
- Receives and sends direct messages for the business, alongside its other channels.
- WhatsApp Business
- Sends and receives WhatsApp messages for the business, subject to the same consent checks as every other channel.
Commitments
Things we never do.
- Sell personal information, to anyone
- Use Google or Meta data for advertising
- Use Google or Meta data to train generalized AI models
- Let one business see another business's data
- Keep access after a business disconnects an account
Deletion
Anyone can ask for their data to be deleted.
